Overview
Fully funded research fellowship for early‑career researchers from ASEAN countries to conduct research at leading Japanese institutes.

Eligibility Criteria:
- Doctoral degree earned within the past six years or PhD candidate expected to graduate within 2 years
- Citizens of ASEAN countries (excluding Japan)
- Not previously awarded a JSPS fellowship
- Strong academic record and publications

- Prepare a research plan and required documents
- Submit the application through the overseas nominating authority by 16 Nov 2026
